FAQs
FAQs
What's in the playdough?
Our playdough is handmade in small batches with flour, water, cream of tartar, salt, vegetable oil, food coloring, and natural essential/food-grade oils.
Is the playdough edible?
We don't recommend eating the playdough, however, if your little one decides to taste-test, it's 100% safe to eat.
How fresh is the playdough?
Each batch of dough is made to order. If giving as a gift, we recommend ordering as close as possible to the event to minimize salt crystals.
Wait...salt crystals?
If you notice your playdough begin to dry and develop salt crystals, add a few drops of warm water and knead it. The dough will resoften almost immediately.
How long does homemade playdough last?
Playdough will last up to 6 months with proper storage. We recommend storing all playdough in an air-tight, sealed container after initially unwrapping. A plastic container or ziploc bag both work well!
What age(s) do you recommend playdough for?
Playdough is great for play at any age, however, we recommend keeping the small pieces away from anyone under 3 years old (choking hazard) and supervise small children while playing.
